Through a targeted Demand Generation campaign on Google Ads, promoting YouTube Shorts and aiming to increase subscribers, Ahi Carrier SEE managed to transform a specialized corporate channel into one of the strongest digital “players” in the HVAC industry in Greece — and not only on YouTube.

With an investment of just €1,867, the channel went from approximately 400 initial subscribers to a total of 8,700+, thanks to 7,296 paid new subs and more than 1,000 organic ones created as a natural result of increased visibility.

Approach

  1. Demand Gen Campaign Selection

The strategy was based on the use of a Demand Gen campaign (formerly Discovery), ideal for:

  • maximizing reach and views,
  • low cost per view/action,
  • promotion on YouTube, Discover & Gmail placements,
  • promoting video content only with Shorts.

2. Targeting & Creative Strategy

  • Audience targeting based on interests (HVAC, engineering, technology, smart home) was used, as well as a broader audience.
  • Selected YouTube Shorts with high potential were promoted.
  • A setup with CTA for Subscribe was created.

3. Optimization

With optimizations in creatives, targeting, and bidding, we achieved:

  • An exceptionally low CPC of €0.10
  • An impressive cost per user registration of just €0.26
